Improving China's Corporate English

An introduction to R.D. Communications

As professional writers from foreign lands we see poorly written, unintelligible English everywhere in China. We call it English pollution and it is seriously affecting China's efforts to build global brands and to communicate effectively with the world.

In the past, foreigners used to chuckle at the Chinglish on public signs but now China’s bad English is on display around the world. Almost every Chinese company and government agency has an English website and 90 percent of it is terrible.

We can tell immediately when a company’s English website has been written by a non-native English speaker.  It will not only contain bad grammar and poor spelling, but wrong cultural concepts and even fuzzy logic that leaves readers scratching their heads trying to understand what the writer is trying to say.

If your company is serious about reaching out to world markets and communicating effectively in the language of international business, your English MUST be written by professional, native-speaking writers.
